Program Overview

A nurturing, relationship-centered, full-day program designed for toddlers.

Launching in January 2027, our toddler program serves mobile children aged 12–24 months, with social and emotional development at its core. We honor each child as a capable, curious learner, growing along their own unique developmental timeline.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and RIE philosophy, we create thoughtfully prepared environments with carefully curated materials that invite exploration, discovery, and meaningful engagement. Children learn in relationship with trusted caregivers and peers, building a strong foundation of empathy, cooperation, and self-expression.

Within a calm and predictable daily rhythm, toddlers have time and space to move freely, explore deeply, and engage in self-directed play. Teachers foster strong, trusting relationships through attentive observation, respectful communication, and consistent caregiving routines. Everyday moments—such as diapering, meals, and transitions—are approached as meaningful opportunities for connection and learning.

Toddlers spend time outdoors each day in a dedicated play space designed for their stage of development, supporting safe risk-taking, large motor exploration, and sensory discovery. These outdoor environments extend the classroom, offering fresh air, freedom of movement, and connection to the natural world.

Indoors, children learn in a carefully prepared environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and calm engagement. Materials are intentionally displayed at a child’s level to invite choice and self-directed exploration, while predictable spaces support both active play and quiet moments.

This program serves as the foundation for a child’s journey at WNS, building the social, emotional, and cognitive skills that support future learning.
