After-school athletics opportunities are offered in some form for all K-8 grade students.

WNS middle school teams participate in formal athletics within the Pacific Basin League (PBL), while 5th grade students participate in the Coastal Canyon League (CCL). 

Our younger students (kindergarten – 4th grade) have the opportunity to participate in athletics clinics through our ACE (After-Class Enrichment) programs. To learn more about our ACE programs, please click here.

The WNS athletic program is rooted in the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Our philosophy emphasizes not only collaboration among teammates but also respect and camaraderie with opposing teams—fostering a spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect.

Through participation in sports, students build resilience, learn to balance academic responsibilities with athletic commitments, and develop leadership and communication skills that serve them for life. With a "there is a team for everyone" approach, WNS encourages every student to step outside their comfort zone, try something new, and discover their strengths.
