It takes the partnership and loyalty of our WNS community to continue its incomparable reputation for innovation and advancement. Like all non-profit, 501(C3)’s, WNS relies on the generosity of its Annual Fund contributions to take our program to the next level.
Your Annual Fund gift makes a difference in the quality of the education that WNS offers all students and provides necessary operating dollars for initiatives that tuition alone does not cover. The hallmark of our inclusive community is that every gift is meaningful, and every gift makes a difference.

Ways to Give
We strive to make the process of giving back to the WNS community as straightforward as possible. Gifts made to WNS (501C3 Nonprofit Organization) are tax-deductible.

Funding Priorities
Technology Needs
Our students and teachers have access to the most effective technology and programming available, to enrich learning and support teaching. These advancements come at a cost—but they are critical to keeping our community at the forefront of innovation.
Athletics
Athletics at WNS is about more than competition—it’s a vital part of our students’ growth. Annual Fund contributions support essential needs like equipment, uniforms, league fees, and more.
Visual & Performing Arts
From dramatic arts, music, and dance to visual and digital media, our robust offerings in the arts spark creativity and self-expression across all grade levels. These enriching experiences are made possible in part by the Annual Fund.
Tuition Assistance
We are deeply committed to maintaining a vibrant, socio-economically diverse community. This year, we are investing over $3 million to uphold that commitment. We recognize that sustaining this level of inclusivity requires both intention and investment, and we are proud to do the work.
Connecting our Community
From an active and empowered Parent Group Board to Grade Level Ambassadors, and from beloved traditions like the Annual Block Party, to meaningful gatherings such as Caregiver Coffees and our Speaker Series, we believe that a vibrant school community enriches the experience for every child and adult.
Professional Development
Exceptional teaching is at the heart of the WNS experience. We prioritize continued professional growth for our faculty by bringing leading experts, thought leaders, and advocates to campus—and by sending our educators out into the world to engage in cutting-edge conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Retreats & Field Trips
Every student participates in retreats and field trips. All fees for these experiences are covered by the school, ensuring equity and full inclusion. For our Middle School students, overnight retreats provide meaningful opportunities to build friendships, step outside their comfort zones, and explore new environments.
A Lifelong Love of Reading
Our library is more than a collection of books—it’s a welcoming space for imagination, creativity, and connection. Thanks to support from the Annual Fund, we continue to expand and enrich this beloved resource, ensuring students have access to a diverse and dynamic collection.
Giving Levels at WNS
WNS annually recognizes our most loyal and generous supporters at eight levels of giving:
Leadership Circle
Leadership giving at WNS helps sustain the socio-economic diversity that drew so many of us here and preserves this special community that we so cherish. WNS’s Leadership gifts make up almost 80 percent of the Annual Fund goal. While we rely on gifts of all sizes, leadership-level gifts ensure WNS’s financial stability and deliver a profound and immediate impact on the people, programs, and facilities that comprise our vibrant school.
WNS’s Leadership Donors exemplify the selfless partnership, commitment, and dedication of those who have built WNS into the outstanding institution it is today, and those who want to preserve and continue its mission for tomorrow.
