Giving at WNS
A Word from our Development Office
What makes Westside Neighborhood School extraordinary isn’t just the programs we offer—it’s the people who bring this community to life. The generosity of our families, through time, energy, and philanthropy, creates a school where students don’t just learn, they thrive. While tuition provides a foundation for all we do, it’s the added support of our community that makes it possible to offer the enriched programs, opportunities, and experiences that set WNS apart.
Since 1980, WNS families have helped shape a culture of connection and shared purpose. Each contribution, no matter the form it takes, strengthens the foundation our students stand on today and builds the possibilities they will step into tomorrow.
I’m honored to walk alongside you as we continue to grow this extraordinary community together.
With gratitude,
Danny Kramer
Director of Development

The WNS Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is WNS’ most vital fundraising campaign of the year and is essential to the school’s sustainability and success. Gifts to the WNS Annual Fund bridge the gap between what tuition covers and the necessary operating costs of a WNS education. It supports the year’s greatest needs, such as financial assistance for families, educational and athletic programs, maintenance and improvement of the campus and facilities, as well as professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff. Like all private-independent schools, the Annual Fund kicks off at the beginning of the school year to help fund these essential programs.
We ask that all WNS families participate in the campaign, and give at a level that is right for them. A gift to the WNS Annual Fund is tax-deductible.

Embrace the Dream Campaign
In Fall 2026, WNS will be moving DK-8th grade into our brand-new, state-of-the-art campus at 5340 Alla Road.
To create a campus that truly inspires and supports every student, we’re working to raise $3.5 million for game-changing enhancements ready for use by Fall 2026, including:
- A dynamic Athletic Complex with facilities like a soccer field, sports courts, batting cage, and long jump pit.
- A dedicated DK/K Play Yard, specially designed with the developmental needs of young children in mind.
- A Community Meeting Room, dedicated Middle School Student Lounge, Dance Studio with marley flooring, and Emerging Media and Production Lab, all purpose-built and state of the art spaces that have never before been part of our current campus experience.
We're already close to half-way to our goal! Throughout the 2024-25 school year, we raised $1.5million.
Ways to Give
We strive to make the process of giving back to the WNS community as straightforward as possible. Gifts made to WNS (501C3 Nonprofit Organization) are tax-deductible.
